The Toronto Raptors lost to the Detroit Pistons at home Wednesday night on a Reggie Bullock game-winner, and Raptors All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry was not happy after the game.

Speaking to reporters in the postgame locker room, Kyle Lowry says guys on the team need to talk more on the defensive end.

This was only the second loss the Raptors have suffered at home. They are now 12-3 on the season.

Toronto gave up 29 points in the fourth quarter in the defeat. It was a bad loss considering the team at one point had a 19-point lead on the Pistons.

Both Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard said the communication on the back end has to improve if the team wants to be a contender. Calling out picks, back-screens and playing help defense are aspects of the game the Raptors are struggling with right now.

There's still a long season ahead and head coach Nick Nurse and his staff are likely going to stress communication in the upcoming practices.

What Kyle Lowry said postgame is vital for the Raptors' success. When one of the leaders of the team is speaking up about playing better defense, more often that not that message is going to be heard by the players.
