Toronto Raptors power forward Serge Ibaka says he's looking forward to facing his “ex-teammate” Kawhi Leonard on Dec. 11 when the Los Angeles Clippers come to Toronto.

Ibaka says he's talked to Leonard since the two-time Finals MVP signed with the Clippers in free agency. The big man says it's about time the Raptors got a Christmas game.

Kawhi Leonard had a magical one-year run with the Raptors. He led the franchise to its first-ever championship. No one in Toronto can be upset at Leonard for wanting to go back home to Los Angeles. After all, Leonard did everything he was asked to do with the Raptors.

Serge Ibaka has one-year left on his contract with the Raptors. Some around the league believe if Toronto gets off to a slow start in 2019-20 sans Leonard, president Masai Ujiri will look to trade Ibaka, point guard Kyle Lowry and center Marc Gasol near the February 2020 trade deadline.

This past season, Ibaka averaged 15.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.4 blocks for Toronto during the regular-season while shooting 52.9 percent from the field, 29.0 percent from beyond the arc and 76.3 percent from the free-throw line. In the playoffs, Ibaka put up 9.4 points and 6.0 rebounds.

Ibaka will make $23,271,605 next season.
