The Toronto Raptors are 2-0 on the young season, and the two players they acquired this summer from the San Antonio Spurs, All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard and shooting guard Danny Green, teamed up to make a stellar defensive play against Boston Celtics second-year swingman Jayson Tatum in the fourth quarter of Friday's game.

Tatum was on the fast break trying to convert a layup with 1:17 left in regulation. Leonard and Green, however, had other ideas:

Kawhi Leonard is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year award winner, while Danny Green is one of the better perimeter defenders at the shooting guard position. Both players are going to make the Raptors' defense a top unit this season.

Leonard put on a show for the Raptors crowd on Friday. He scored 31 points while shooting 10-of-25 from the field, 2-of-5 from the 3-point line, and 9-of-9 from the free-throw line to help Toronto beat Boston by a final score of 113-101. Green, meanwhile, finished with 14 points. He shot 5-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.

With both Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green in the mix, the Raptors have a great chance to go to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history this year.
