The Washington Redskins were nervous to see a video surface of their star cornerback Josh Norman jumping over a bull. Although Norman is tired of the slack he is receiving for jumping over the bull.

In a recent interview with Rich Eisen of NFL Network, Norman responded to the criticism of him bull-jumping. Eisen asked Norman about the incident and the cornerback responded with an interesting comment.

“You can just go outside your front door and get in the car and something happens to you, an accident happens,” Norman said, via the Washington Post. “You were safe. You can even go out there and be in practice, and be on the football field and tear an ACL. You were safe. I can go out there and run with the bulls and I do something exciting, and something that brings out the best in me in my life, in my world, and I win at that, I become victorious at that, and it’s an issue. I don’t understand it. Because it’s something I feel like I’m doing, that’s bringing peace and bringing joy to me, and I’m excited. [Did I] weigh the risks? Of course. I never would’ve done it if I didn’t.”

Obviously, there are chances that a player suffers an injury during the season out of nowhere. For Norman, he understood he was making a risk jumping over a bull in Pamplona.

This situation would be completely different had Norman gotten hurt during his stunt. Although, he didn't so there is really no reason to get worked up about it.

After all, Rex Ryan went running with the bulls in Pamplona in 2013 when he coached the New York Jets. No one batted an eye when a coach did it so there shouldn't be an issue when a player does it with no consequences to come out of it.

Going forward, it is safe to say that the Redskins will likely speak to Norman and try to persuade him to not jump over a bull again.
