Given the Golden State Warriors‘ situation with free agency this summer, key pieces to the puzzle like unrestricted free agent Andre Iguodala are bound to receive plenty of interest from teams like the Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, and the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to a dual report by ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Chris Haynes.

The Warriors will likely have to reward an all-time bargain on their back-to-back MVP winner, giving Stephen Curry a supermax contract that would have him earn as much as $205 million over five years after earning a modest $44 million during his last four seasons with the team.

Kevin Durant could garner as much as $35.4 million next year if he chooses to look for an extension, but is reportedly willing to take less in order to keep the Warriors' core intact. Taking $4 million less per year would allow the cap space to keep the 12-year veteran at home.

With this concession, Golden State would be able to bring back Iguodala and fellow unrestricted free agent Shaun Livingston, allowing the team to match potential offers from these three teams, plus others thrown into the mix.

The Suns lost their sixth man P.J. Tucker via trade to the Toronto Raptors and will be on the look for another defensive stopped, a role which Iguodala fits to a tee.

Atlanta is at a crucial point with the possible re-signing of Paul Millsap or even a potential re-structuring of the team if it chooses to let him go elsewhere, and could use a veteran that can be a Swiss army knife in a competitive Eastern Conference.

The Timberwolves are in need of experience, leadership, and mentorship with a young roster of players. The 33-year old could be just that missing piece to elevate the young Wolves into competitors in a loaded West.
