Serbian guard Bogdan Bogdanović is set to leave Turkish giants and current Euroleague champions, Fenerbahce. The 27th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft was originally selected by the Phoenix Suns, but his rights were later traded to the Sacramento Kings. Along with Bogdanović, Sacramento received the 13th and 28th selections in the 2016 NBA Draft for the 8th overall pick, which turned out to be forward Marquese Chriss.

The Kings are in full rebuild mode, and young talent is needed. After three seasons of being stashed in Europe, it seems like Bogdanović is coming to the NBA at the right time for his skillset. Bogdanović is an amazing three-point shooter and a good defender. He averaged 16.7 points per game on 43 percent shooting from downtown, numbers that created optimism for Kings fans.

Bogdanović played four full seasons for Serbian giants Partizan, and he later moved to Fenerbahce. In his last Euroleague season, he won the championship and was arguably the best player on the team.

Bogdanović, per Ailene Voisin of the Sacramento Bee, signed a three-year, $36 million deal with the Kings. This is sure to be a change for Bogdan, as he made €1.3 million in his last season with Fenerbahce.

Bogdanović might be joined by another Serbian, Miloš Teodosić. The point guard is reportedly receiving offers from many NBA teams, with the Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls serving as front runners.

Expanding on the Serbian theme, it has to be mentioned that Kings GM Vlade Divac is, arguably, the best Serbian player to ever play.
