After a few years away from the Big Apple, Jeremy Lin is making his grand return to New York. However, he'll be with a different franchise this time.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Lin has agreed to a three-year, $36 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Additionally, Lin has a player option for the third year, a trade kicker, and bonuses.

Lin confirmed the deal on his own Twitter account, as well:

Yesterday, it was reported that the Nets were pushing hard for Lin, and his return to the Charlotte Hornets was far from guaranteed. He declined a $2.2 million player option to remain a Hornet. Quite clear he made the right choice there.

Primarily coming off the bench, Lin averaged 11.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and three assists per game in his lone season with Charlotte. He hopes to have a much bigger role in Brooklyn.
