Only a little over a week has passed since they dominated the Mid Season Invitational 2022, but the LPL team Royal Never Give Up announced that it will be trading away its top laner Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin. RNG will be receiving Chen “Breathe” Chen from Bilibili Gaming.

RNG and BLG made simultaneous announcements in the Chinese social media Weibo, announcing the trade between the two squads. RNG's post read:

“After positive and friendly communication with the player, we are pleased to announce that as of today, Breathe (Chen Chen) has officially joined the League of Legends Division of RNG Esports Club, and will work together with other team members for the upcoming season as the team's top lane player.

Breathe has played for OMG, WE and BLG, and has solid fundamentals, a wide champion pool, extensive experience on the Rift, and a combination of offensive and defensive styles; he works hard in daily training, has high initiative, is good at communication, can choose different styles of play according to the needs of the team, and fully cooperate with the tactical system, and has left many highlight moments in the game. He is a rare and powerful player.

We welcome Breathe to join the RNG family, and look forward to working with you in the future to motivate each other to progress together and do our best to advance to a higher and bigger stage!”

BLG's post, on the other hand, welcomed Bin:

“We are pleased to announce that top laner Chen Ze-bin (id: Bin) has officially joined BLG as our top laner for the new season.

In October 2020, Bin and his former team SN Esports Club got the runner-up of 2020 Worlds Finals, and in the same year, he got the title of 2020 Best Top Laner and Best Rookie.

In May of the same year, Bin and his former team RNG Esports Club represented the LPL in the 2022 MSI and won the championship with their outstanding performance.

Welcome Bin to BLG and join us in the upcoming season, let's fight for our dreams and toast to our faith!”

This news comes shortly after LNG Esports mid laner Kim “Doinb” Tae-sang talked about Bin and Breathe trading teams but cannot tell his viewers the reason behind it. In the same day, he also said that legendary bot laner Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao will be parting ways with Bilibili Gaming.
