Over the past four years, Rudy Gobert has made a name for himself as one of the best defenders and rim protectors in the NBA. He has averaged more than two blocks per game in the last three seasons, and was one of the nominees for the Defensive Player of the Year Award last season.

Now in the summer, many are wondering what’s keeping The Stifle Tower busy and how he plans to further improve his defensive skills. With Gobert attending Raul Neto’s basketball camp in Brazil, he took the chance to practice his blocking skills, by mercilessly and hilariously rejecting shots by the campers — who are mostly kids.

The video definitely shows that even if Gobert is around young players, he is not taking it easy on them which could be his way of motivating them to work harder in trying to get shots off him.

It may seem like all fun and games for Gobert right now, but once training camp starts, he will certainly have his game face on once again, especially now that he is expected to become the Utah Jazz's go-to-guy with Gordon Hayward deciding to bring his talents to the Boston Celtics. The good news for the Salt Lake City faithful is he is healthy and full of confidence, coming off his best season so far as a pro with averages of 14.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.6 blocks per game.
