Veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall is signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

While the Seahawks have not yet officially announced the signing, Marshall himself indicated that he is Seattle-bound by posting pictures of himself wearing a Seahawks jersey on Instagram with the caption, “Always wanted to play in front of these fans.. . @seahawks.”

Schefter also reports that the maximum value of Marshall’s one-year deal with Seattle is $2 million.

Marshall, who was released by the New York Giants earlier this offseason after just one year with the team, made a free-agent visit to Seattle earlier this month. He also hinted last week that he would be signing with his new team soon.

Marshall, 34, suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 which prematurely ended his season last year. However, he didn't play up to his previously high standards in the five games he played. He finished with just 18 catches for 154 yards and no touchdowns.

The 12-year veteran, who is a six-time Pro Bowler and a one-time First-Team All-Pro selection, will now be joining his sixth NFL team. He's just a couple seasons removed from a career year with the New York Jets in 2015, where he had 109 catches for 1,502 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Marshall will look to provide a reliable receiving option for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson after he lost two of last year's top targets in Paul Richardson and tight end Jimmy Graham in free agency. Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett are the top two holdovers from last year’s group.
