The Seattle Seahawks have made quite a few changes over the course of the last few months during the NFL offseason. A lot of notable players have headed elsewhere in one way or another with what seems to be signaling a rebuilding process in Seattle.

Although things have drastically changed for the Seahawks, the team was able to bring in a proven veteran on offense to add to Russell Wilson's arsenal. Veteran wideout Brandon Marshall signed with the team recently but hasn't been participating in workouts due to a hamstring issue. Head coach Pete Carroll let it be known that the injury wouldn't be a problem coming training camp, via Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.

“We’re just making sure that we don’t have a setback on a hamstring that’s recovering,” Carroll said. “We talked about it today – he’s got a solid six weeks, he’ll be well. We need to do a really good job as we re-introduce him back into our tempo and speed and all that, that we don’t overdo it early in the excitement to see what he can do and all.”

If Marshall can stay healthy in Seattle, he could prove to be a valuable addition to this team which needs all the help they can get on offense. Last season, Marshall signed with the New York Giants to play alongside Odell Beckham Jr. in what was expected a formidable duo. Unfortunately, both players dealt with ankle injuries which cost them the majority of their season.

In his one year with the Giants, Marshall played in only five games catching 18 passes for 154 receiving yards and zero trips to the end zone.
