The Seattle Seahawks picked up a pivotal road win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10, coming away with a 27-24 overtime victory to hand the 49ers their first loss of the season.

However, the win was a bit costly for the Seahawks, as wide receiver Tyler Lockett suffered a leg contusion late in the fourth quarter and did not play in the extra session.

Fortunately, Seattle had a Week 11 bye, so Lockett has had some extra time to recover in the lead-up to the Seahawks' Week 12 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, and head coach Pete Carroll is feeling good about Lockett's chances of playing on Sunday.

“He’s doing better. We’ll know later in the week his status,” said Carroll, according to Tim Booth of The Associated Press. “We’re hoping, planning on him being able to play, but he has to show us, so we’ll see.”

Lockett is an integral part of Seattle's offense and is having a tremendous season. In 10 games, he has logged 62 catches for 793 yards and six touchdowns, putting him on track to have the best year of his NFL career.

The 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Kansas State, was originally selected by the Seahawks in the third round (69th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He instantly flashed his talent during his rookie campaign, catching 51 passes for 664 yards and six scores while also punching in a pair of special teams touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Lockett is yet to tally 1,000 yards in a single season, but he came close in 2018, hauling in 57 receptions for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Seattle is 8-2 on the year.
