Khamzat Chimaev has been the big name in the UFC welterweight division and many fighters have reacted to his quick rise. Sean Brady recently spoke out about him and he reminded everyone that the Swedish fighter is human.

Sean Brady was recently on the Morning Kombat podcast and he got honest about the UFC welterweight prospect. He didn't hold back about the way people reacted to Khamzat Chimaev's fight with Gilbert Burns and why they were wrong.

“I’ve seen a lot of people giving Khamzat shit because he had a tough fight. I feel like people thought Khamzat was going to go in there, and fucking shoot lasers out of his eyes”

“He’s a human. Yeah, he’s very very good and he mauled a couple of guys who weren’t that good, and skilled but Gilbert, I knew that was not going to happen.”

While he was on the show, Sean Brady also talked about his training partner Paul Felder. Felder is retired from the UFC but he still trains at his gym in Philadelphia.

“‘This dude’s a fucking hot head, just keep your hands up when you spar him.’ So literally every time anyone would spar Paul, he would start throwing bombs on you and we would just, his takedown defense sucked. So we’re just taking him down, and just ground and pound, and just submit him. But over the years, it got better and better so takedowns became hard to get”

“He was throwing real kicks at you, knees, elbows, and he’ll tell you too, he was a hard dude to deal with on the feet but it made us all fucking super good.”
