Listing an all-time starting five can be a tall order for NBA fans, as there have been so many great players throughout the league's history. Sixers legend Allen Iverson thinks he has this issue sorted, though. The Answer, as he came to be known, seems to favor the Lakers.

In a wide-ranging interview with The Players' Tribune, the 43-year-old noted the players he would choose. Three Lakers made his ballot, including Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James. The other two? Bulls icon Michael Jordan and Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry.

ALL-TIME NBA STARTING 5 (EXCLUDING MYSELF):

STEPH
MIKE
KOBE
BRON
SHAQ

Allen Iverson became one of the best ball handlers the NBA has ever known, and some would argue that he should be on this list. Several of his moves, including his demoralizing crossover, are copied to this day. The former No. 1 overall pick was much more than an offensive threat, though. He was also an excellent defender In fact, he led the league in steals three times (2001-03).

Some would argue that Allen Iverson had a bit of oversight in listing his all-time starting five, but his group would likely be favored against any other. Jerry West, one of the greatest shooters in league history and a Lakers legend, failed to make the cut. The same can be said for Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
