Following the blockbuster deal that took place on Saturday between the Philadelphia Sixers and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sixers stud Ben Simmons has come out to say that he does not believe the arrival of Jimmy Butler will hurt his game in any way whatsoever.

With the addition of another All-Star-caliber player to the squad, there were some who questioned how the team would co-exist on the floor. Particularly, how Butler's high usage rate would affect Simmons as well as star big man Joel Embiid.

Simmons is having none of it, and firmly believes that Butler's arrival will be beneficial not only for himself, but for the rest of the team as well.

“It's not going to affect my game,” Simmons said, via Tim MacMahon of ESPN. “I know how to play, wherever you want me on the floor. But at the same time, I know what I'm good at, I know what I can do on the floor. Him coming in helps us, adds another scorer out there, another vet who can play the game the right way. He's going to fit in with us.”

Simmons is exhibiting here how much confidence and understanding he has in his own game. The 22-year-old is also proving that he is able to put the interest of the team above his. Winning comes first above everything else for Simmons, and so long as it's for the betterment of the team in general, then he definitely is all in.
