Philadelphia 76ers point-forward Ben Simmons has been in a lot of trade rumors as of late following his horrendous performance in the 2021 playoffs. However, if you're going to ask his Sixers teammate Seth Curry, he doesn't want the playmaker to go anywhere.

During his appearance on the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament, Curry was asked about the trade rumors surrounding Simmons. Unlike others who refuse to give a direct answer on the matter, Seth was firm in his response that he doesn't want the Sixers to trade the Aussie.

Curry also emphasized his belief that Simmons can still be a championship-caliber point guard despite the struggles he had in the 2021 playoffs.

“I love playing with Ben… he's still a great player, he obviously had a rough playoffs… I look forward to playing with him again,” the Sixers sharpshooter said.

Ben Simmons has been linked with the likes of the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, but most were only trade proposals. As for interested teams, the Minnesota Timberwolves are said to be eyeing the 24-year-old.

It doesn't help that the Sixers are said to be exploring trade options for Simmons as well, with Philly said to be “angling” on a Damian Lillard deal to take the team to true championship contender status.

It remains to be seen what the Sixers will do with Simmons, but Seth Curry's comments certainly speak volumes on how the team sees him even after his latest setback.
