Jimmy Butler is thrilled to be anywhere other than Minnesota and the newest Philadelphia 76ers star is happy with his new teammates. Following the Sixers' Friday night 113-107 win over the Utah Jazz, Butler spoke about his new teammates and how they are taking criticism well, according to Rich Hofmann of The Athletic.

“I think everybody knows when I say something to you, it’s never personal. It’s not. And if you want to win, you’re going to take that criticism. Same thing with me. If somebody says something to me like JJ like, ‘Hey, don’t do that.’ I was like, ‘You’re probably right, it was my fault.’ But everybody wants to win so we take it in stride and try to do what they see out there.”

Jimmy Butler's statements are a pretty clear shot at his old teammates in Minnesota. He's highlighting the good dialogue on the Sixers in order to juxtapose that with his situation with the Timberwolves. He wants the world to believe that he wasn't the problem in Minnesota. His overly-sensitive teammates who couldn't handle criticism were the real problem.

It's hard to know exactly who to blame for what went down in Minnesota. That being said, if Jimmy Butler can raise the Sixers to new heights, that could validate some of what went down in Minnesota.

His in-your-face approach could work with the Sixers even though it failed in Minnesota. Now we'll just have to wait and see if things will continue to go smoothly in Philly.
