The Philadelphia 76ers still can't crack the Boston Celtics' code.

Joel Embiid wasn't happy with the officiating in the 76ers' 112-109 loss.

“These referees f—ng sucked,” Embiid said into the microphone after the post-game presser.

Just as it was in last year's postseason series, and even without the services of Kyrie Irving, the Celtics beat the Sixers for the third time this season on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Embiid had 23 points and 14 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler followed with 22 for Philly.

Recently-acquired forward Tobias Harris cooled off as well, scoring just 10 points, after heading into the matchup averaging 18.0 points in his first two appearances with the team.

After an impressive 117-110 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday, and laying a barrage of scoring on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers just a couple of days ago, it's safe to say that the Sixers have finally come back to Earth since their successful trade deadline.

The good news is, it was a wave that obviously wasn't going to be impenetrable for the remainder of the year – so it's better to come to this realization in the null days leading up to the All-Star break.

With the loss, the Sixers move to 36-21, and will look to recover with a win against the lowly New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

Joel Embiid was recently named as an All-Star starter for the second year in a row – currently averaging 27.4 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 blocks in his third active season with the Philadelphia 76ers.
