The Philadelphia 76ers officially turned the page on the new chapter of their franchise following James Harden's tremendous debut on Friday night. Along with the entire Sixers nation, Joel Embiid was also delighted to see his new teammate come out with such a strong statement on the basketball court in their first game together as Philly's new dynamic duo. By the looks of it, these two are getting along just fine.

Embiid and Harden were all smiles after the game. The Sixers pair even shared a hilarious moment in their joint press conference that shows just how close these two are from becoming BFFs (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

Harden was in absolute awe (and a little bit frightened) as he watched Embiid devour a whole bottle of water. The pair then had a bit of a moment between them right after Embiid chugged down his H2O. Both of them started laughing after Embiid revealed just how much he enjoyed that bottle of water. Adorable, right?

There was nothing cute about their performance on the court, though, as the new-look Sixers absolutely dominated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 133-102. Embiid put up a monster 34-10 double-double while Harden went off for 27 points, eight rebounds, and 12 assists in his Philly debut.

If this is a sign of things to come for the Sixers then the rest of the NBA should definitely be scared.
