While Philadelphia 76ers newcomer Jimmy Butler may not have parted ways with the Minnesota Timberwolves on the best of terms, it appears that he is getting along fairly well with his new Sixers teammates.

According to Sixers insider Jon Johnson, Butler and his unmatched work ethic has left quite an impression on the entire team:

That's not exactly what we would expect Butler's old teammates to say about him. Then again, the 28-year-old did claim on several occasions that he was improperly portrayed by the media as a “bad teammate,” so there might actually be some truth behind this claim.

Butler reportedly butted heads with the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, and his relationship with these two former teammates in particular was cited as one of the main reasons behind his desire to jump ship.

It seems that Butler is putting his best foot forward with his new team, as it has been nothing but sunshine since he made his move out East. The former Most Improved Player winner also recently gave out dozens of Air Jordan sneakers to every member of the Sixers organization, so he is obviously trying to win them over at this point.

Whatever the case may be, Jimmy Butler has certainly been a great addition for the Sixers thus far. The team has won eight out of the 10 games they've played since Butler's arrival, and they definitely look like a more formidable squad with him around.

Regardless of how ugly things went in Minnesota, Butler's hardworking attitude has always been one of his strong suits, and it appears to be rubbing off on the rest of the Sixers.
