The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly re-engaged trade interest around the league in second-year point guard Markelle Fultz, according to Sixers insider Jon Johnson.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7. Markelle Fultz is still rehabbing from Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and hasn't played since November.

Before he was shut down by his attorney and agent, Fultz was averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game for the Sixers. The former No. 1 overall pick was shooting 41.9 percent from the floor, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc and 56.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome is an ailment which affects nerves between the neck and shoulder resulting in abnormal functional movement and range of motion. It explains why Fultz had a nasty hitch in his jump shot when he was shooting the ball at the free throw line.

What could the Sixers possibly get for Fultz at this point? The combo guard has to have zero trade value right now considering everything he's gone through in his first two years in the NBA. One could say Philly would be better off keeping him on the roster to see if his latest rehab regimen fixed his shooting woes.

The Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns have previously been linked to having trade interest in Fultz.
