Time never passes by without taking a toll on players, as nobody is immune to father time. Tony Parker is the most recent example, as the veteran point guard will now come off the bench for the San Antonio Spurs. Parker said longtime coach Gregg Popovich told him it was time.

Dejounte Murray started in Parker's usual spot last Sunday, in a 94-86 home loss to the Indiana Pacers. Murray had a good, all-around game in 27 minutes of actions; eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block on 3-for-8 shooting.

In a video, courtesy of Express-News' Jabari Young, LeBron James – the superstar that appears to be challenging father time – commented on the situation and offered some advice for Murray:

“Just seize the opportunity. Obviously, listen to [Popovich], he knows what the hell he is doing. But seize the oportunity. And every game and every opportunity you get just, you know, think it could be your last. And that's how you don't take things for granted. First of all, the kid is a gym rat. He loves the game of basketball. And I'm happy where he's coming so far in his short career. And he has the opportunity. He has the opportunity to go out and showcase what he's about but, doing it the right way way, working on your game and things of that nature. And I think if you do that, the game will take care of itself.”

These are certainly high-praise words from the King, and Murray should feel proud James recognizes his game this way.

In just his second season, Murray has appeared to notch the starting job for the foreseeable future. He will get a taste of James for the second time in his career tonight as the Spurs host the Cavaliers.
