The good folks at EA Sports have simply slid out of the “good people” column as it pertains to Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier.

The comeback artist whose inspirational story has all of us running through walls, recently made it known that he's extremely unhappy with his rating in “Madden NFL 18.”

Shazier, 25, was the Steelers first-round choice back in the 2014 NFL Draft and has done little to disappoint all involved.

Through four seasons and a total of 46 games (41 started) on the second-level of that Pittsburgh D, Shazier's talent and ridiculous speed helped him seven interceptions, seven forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, seven sacks and 205 total tackles.

Of course, his stature as an NFL player took on a life of its own after his bone-chilling season-ending spinal injury against the Cincinnati Bengals late in the season. He still dreams of playing in the NFL again but as of today, there are no guarantees. Either way, his rating of 85 in the newest edition of Madden is absolutely a slight.

In this game, speed and agility kill at the linebacker position and anybody would be hard-pressed to find a faster man at the position than Shazier. Coming off two straight Pro-Bowl nods, 85 is probably a little too low.

Knowing the good folks at EA Sports, expect this rating to change with the first update.
