Former Pittsburgh Steeler and Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw has been critical of the organization in recent years, but he is sticking to his guns in regards to the team's current quarterback.

After Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell's criticism of Ben Roethlisberger surfaced, many questioned Roethlisberger and exactly what's going on in Pittsburgh. Bradshaw isn't buying it and can't figure out what all the criticism is about, according to TMZ Sports.

“I don't understand it,” Bradshaw says … “He's a great leader. He is. He's solid.”

The Steelers have had their share of adversity since the beginning of the 2018 season and it has not been any better for a team usually far away from controversies.

As Roethlisberger still stands strong in Pittsburgh, many are left wondering how he'll respond in 2019 after hearing all the harsh criticism in his direction.

Roethlisberger was fantastic in 2018, passing for a career-high 5,129 yards as well as a career-high 34 passing touchdowns. To say Roethlisberger has missed a step this late in his career is clearly not the case considering the team tested him last season, attempting 675 passes and converting 452 for a 67 completion percentage.

Roethlisberger has plenty left in the tank and his leadership is right up there with the best of them. Perhaps Roethlisberger was forced to pass as much as he did due to the team losing Le'Veon Bell for the season in a contract holdout, but the stats don't lie.

The Steelers have a legitimate chance at competing as long as their Super Bowl-winning quarterback is running the offense.
