Longtime journeyman Steve Blake is staying ready.

According to a tweet by ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, the University of Maryland product was working out at the Portland Trail Blazers‘ facility.

In his 13-year NBA career, Blake has played with seven different teams, including three different stints with the Blazers. He had his best year with the team in 2008-09, averaging 11 points and five assists per game, while shooting 42.7% from three.

The 6-foot-3 sharpshooter could help a team that is looking to add shooting or veteran leadership to their roster. While Blake is a respectable back-up point guard, he strives in catch-and-shoot situations and could prove to be a source of bench scoring if need be.

Steve Blake spent last season with the Detroit Pistons, averaging 4.4 points and 3.4 assists in 17 minutes per game on 58 appearances for the Motor City squad.
