The Phoenix Suns could really use some good news. They're one of the worst teams in the league with a paltry record of 9-31. Furthermore, there is some uncertainty regarding Phoenix's Talking Stick Resort Arena and the future of the team in the Phoenix area.

Regardless of any uncertainty, Suns president and CEO Jason Rowley believes that Phoneix will have a good chance at landing an All-Star Game once the controversial renovations are complete at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The arena doesn't meet the NBA's standards for hosting the event at this time:

The Suns are in a strange spot as a franchise. They recently made significant changes in the front office, they have a new coach trying to tread water with a young squad, and ownership is handling the arena renovation poorly.

But not everything is bad in Phoenix. Although the lottery odds have changed, the Suns still have a great chance at securing a premium pick in a top-heavy draft. Furthermore, the Suns have to love what they see in first overall pick Deandre Ayton. If not for the emergence of Luka Doncic, Ayton would be the clear favorite to win Rookie of the Year.

Additionally, Devin Booker is developing into a superstar. He's averaging more than 25 points and seven assists per game. Those are eye-popping offensive stats, and the 22-year-old appears poised to make a run at an All-NBA team this season.

The Suns may not be the model for an NBA franchise, but it's not all doom and gloom in Phoenix.
