The Phoenix Suns and their tremendous run in the Disney World bubble have been the talk of the town of late. However, despite winning all eight of their games since the restart, this team still missed out on the playoffs — a tragedy that Suns star Devin Booker has recently opened up about.

According to the young Suns shooting guard, he is able to hold his head up high following what was nothing short of a gallant fight from the entire Phoenix squad.

“I'm proud of this group of guys. We could've had a different approach to this bubble, to this opportunity, but we didn't. We stayed locked in throughout,” Booker said, via Duane Rankin of azcentral.

We could not agree more with Devin Booker here. His Suns were the best team inside the campus, and such is just their luck that they still (barely) missed out on a shot at the playoffs. In their stead, the ninth-placed Memphis Grizzlies will be the ones who will face the eighth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.

Nevertheless, this Booker-led Phoenix side can be extremely proud of their performance in Florida. Unfortunately for them, their fate ultimately fell out of their hands. Still, it is clear that the future is bright for this young and promising squad. At this point, we just can't wait to see how the Suns will come out in the 2020-21 campaign. Hopefully for them, they are able to build on an amazing bubble experience.
