Time and again, Chris Paul has proven to be a blessing for big men. From his early days with the New Orleans Hornets to his current tenure for the Phoenix Suns, the Point God has managed to raise his centers' level of play.

New York Times best-selling author Chris Palmer notes one specific impact Paul has made on his big-men teammates.

Nobody makes big men better than Chris Paul. Tyson Chandler, DeAndre Jordan and DeAndre Ayton all had career FG%’s their first year with CP3. Jordan lead the NBA in FG% 5 straight years with CP3. Ayton shooting 70% in the playoffs.

True enough, Chandler thrived in New Orleans alongside Paul. It was arguably the peak of the latter's powers as he was among the top contenders for the MVP award in one of his seasons for the Hornets. Meanwhile, Jordan enjoyed his best year with Paul leading the charge, even paving the way for the big man's lone All-NBA First Team selection.

Ayton, on the other hand, has been flourishing in the postseason. Despite going through a quiet regular season, Ayton has kept on elevating his game as the Suns advance further in the playoffs. In the Western Conference Finals, the center from The Bahamas is having his best run so far, averaging 20.3 points and 13.5 rebounds prior to Game 5.

Clint Capela can attest to the Chris Paul effect. The Swiss center's first season playing with the point guard extraordinaire was succeeded with his first hefty payday. James Harden also played a key role here but there's no denying Paul's impact as well.

One of the NBA's best leaders on and off the court, Paul's influence could not be denied.
