The legendary T1 organization has so far failed to reach the top of Dota 2 since its start in October 2019. The T1 Dota 2 squad enjoyed mixed success in minor tournaments around Southeast Asia but they were still far from qualifying for The International. The DPC team registry has revealed the next T1 Dota 2 lineup as they look to take the SEA scene by storm.

T1 remaster

T1’s Dota 2 roster had no shortages of roster shuffles and stand-ins since it was formed. The team struggled with both players and tournaments as it tried to find its footing in a well-established region. Fortunately, the organization seems to have calmed down and picked veteran players in the face of a new Dota 2 season.

Geek Fam once stood at the peak of SEA Dota 2 up until its dissolution last year. This left many talented players scattered to the wind. Thankfully, T1 capitalized on the influx of available talent. The acquisition of both Carlo “Kuku” Palad and Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon, both formerly from Geek Fam, will surely aid T1’s attempt to scale the Dota 2 competitive ladder this year.

Marc “Raven” Fausto is the only former Geek Fam player that was not signed by T1. The Filipino player signed on with Fnatic soon after Geek Fam released its lineup in September 2020. The DPC team registry shows that T1 finalized its lineup on January 1, 2020. This coincides with the release of invites for SEA 2020 events. T1 will be playing in the upper division given the successes of its players while they were playing for Geek Fam.
