The Denver Nuggets made a major addition in free agency with the signing of All-Star forward Paul Millsap to a three-year, $90 million deal.

However, it has now created inquiries around the league about the availability of veteran forward Kenneth Faried, according to Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype.

The 27-year-old's name had been mentioned in trade rumors at various points over the last year, but nothing truly came about. However, the addition of Millsap could change things a bit in that regard with him now manning the starting job.

Through his first six years in the league, Faried has shown to be a productive player averaging 11.9 points on 54.4 percent shooting with 7.6 rebounds per game. He did experience a drop in his production with a decreased role setting career lows last season with 21.2 minutes per game and just 34 starts.

Keep in mind, Faried was limited to just 61 games played as he dealt with lower back issues that forced him to miss a total of 14 games and also sat out four contests due to a right sprained ankle.

Faried is also entering the third year of his four-year, $50 million deal that has around $26.7 million remaining over the next two seasons. He could become a valuable trade asset for the Nuggets in search of more veteran help or possible additional draft picks in exchange for the veteran big man.
