Houston Texans running back D'Onta Foreman is confident that he will be able to get back on the football field soon. The young Texas product has yet to take a carry this season.

Though not active, Foreman has recently practiced and insisted that he's in good shape, according Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

“I feel good, I feel great,” Foreman said Wednesday. “I'm ready to go. I've been practicing. I feel very explosive. I'm cutting really good. I feel ready to go.”

The Texans selected Foreman in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft and he signed a four-year, $3.25 million contract with the team.

He found a role in the Texans' backfield, but in Week 11 of the 2017 season, Foreman tore his Achilles tendon and was ruled out for the rest of the season.

In 10 games that year, he carried the ball 78 times for 327 yards and two touchdowns. He also had six receptions for 83 yards.

The Texans have a decision to make regarding Foreman as he still remain with the team's reserve-physically-unable to perform list, and they have until next week to activate him.

They have been cautious with him as they are not sure yet if he can play at his best when he returns.
