It's still the status quo for Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans. As NFL Network's Ian Rapaport notes, the Texans are basically in the same spot with Watson as they have been for a while. They're willing to make a deal and are listening to offers as his legal situation continues to play out.

Rapaport does note that people around the NFL believe a trade will happen at some point, and it could still happen during the 2021 season ahead of the trade deadline. Here's Rap's report:

It was reported last weekend that the Texans had “softened” their trade demands for Deshaun Watson. Houston reportedly turned down an offer of three first-round picks and three second-round picks before the 2021 NFL Draft. It seems the team is now willing to accept less for Watson, but nothing is imminent.

Watson's legal situation looms over everything. The quarterback has been accused of sexual misconduct by 22 women, with 10 women filing criminal complaints.

The NFL hasn't issued a ruling on Watson's status, and he technically is available to play if the Texans really wanted him to be out there. However, he has been inactive so far this season.

The Miami Dolphins have consistently been named as a top suitor for Deshaun Watson. The trade deadline is in a month, and Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is reportedly expected to be back in two weeks. This situation should still be monitored closely.
