Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan confirms superstar small forward Paul George is cleared to play in Game 2 on Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

As we all know, George has been dealing with a shoulder issue for quite some time now. The All-Star swingman told reporters on Monday he's pain free, even though he had his shoulder wrapped up in ice while he was speaking.

The Thunder lost Game 1 to the Blazers by a final score of 104-99. George finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds. PG, however, shot just 8-of-24 from the field and 4-of-15 from beyond the arc.

During the regular season, George averaged 28.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game for the Thunder. The six-time All-Star shot 43.8 percent from from the floor, 38.6 percent from the 3-point line and 83.9 percent from the charity stripe.

George hasn't looked comfortable shooting the ball since the All-Star break. Many believe he's dealing with a more serious injury than he's leading on.

The Thunder are hoping George will shoot the ball better in Game 2. Both George and Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook didn't shoot the ball good in Game 1, and yet OKC almost won the game.

If the two stars shoot better in Game 2, the Thunder could even up the series.
