The Oklahoma City Thunder will pick 20th in the upcoming NBA Draft, but it's possible the organization plans to move up after examining some of the pre-draft interviews OKC is conducting.

The Thunder turned some heads when news came out that they plan to interview local product Trae Young of Oklahoma, as well as Missouri's Michael Porter Jr.

This could just be due diligence but both Young and Porter Jr. are near locks to be top 10 picks and both have the potential to go in the first five.

The Thunder are in an interesting spot this summer with Paul George's future still up in the air and not much flexibility to make roster moves, especially if Carmelo Anthony opts into his player option which would be a shock if he does not.

But general manager Sam Presti has always been active on making moves on draft night and this year it appears there may be some interest in a big trade to move up.

It's hard to imagine any kind of trade involving Anthony, who most teams would hate to pay the remainder of his contract at this point in his career. The Thunder seem to love what they have in center Steven Adams and beyond that, there aren't many assets to think of. Possibly future picks and a player like Andre Roberson could allow OKC to move up some, but high enough for a Young or Porter Jr. seems unlikely.

It's still fun to speculate and it will be interesting to see if the Thunder can become major players at the NBA Draft.
