Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams hasn't made much of Carmelo Anthony's now-popular rebounding chant, but he is more than willing to cooperate with him.

While “I got it, get the f*** outta here” is not the kindest way to ask for a rebound, the Kiwi isn't about to get on the way of the All-Star forward's desire to get his hands on one.

“Oooohh I didn't know that,” said Adams about Anthony's often used signature chant. “The way he gets it is just so flamboyant, you know? Real weird. He likes to have fun out there, it helps him I guess.”

“I'll let him get (the rebound), he doesn't have to say those harsh words,” Adams joked when asked if Anthony's words were directed at him. “It's a bit mean, I thought we were on good terms.”

Anthony has only averaged 3.8 rebounds per game through his six-game stint with his new team, a far dip from his career average of 6.6 rebounds per night. Adams, on the other hand, is rebounding at his usual pace, snatching 8.3 per game, while stepping up his play at the offense and defensive end with this new All-Star core.

As long as the team rebounds well, there will surely be no hard feelings when it comes to their defensive prowess moving forward, no matter how foul the words coming Anthony's mouth are at the end of the day.
