A mini-reunion between former and current Oklahoma City Thunder players recently took place on the basketball court. Russell Westbrook, Paul George, James Harden, and Kevin Durant were all participants in a star-packed pick-up game. What made the event even more awesome was that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was an engrossed spectator who appeared to have been enjoying the show.

The get-together took place in renowned basketball coach Rico Hines' basketball camp, which also features a slew of other NBA players. Props to our friends from Ballislife.com for sharing the clip.

This is pretty much a preview of what the Thunder would look like right now had things not fallen apart.

Harden was the first to pack his bags when he left Oklahoma for the Houston Rockets in 2012. As it turns out, it was the best thing to happen in his career as the move took him out of the shadows of Durant and Westbrook. Everybody knew back then that Harden was too good to play third fiddle, and the fact that he bagged the MVP award last season is just living proof.

Durant's exit was far more controversial. As we all know, the four-time NBA scoring champion infamously turned his back on the Thunder in 2016 when he decided to take his talents to Oakland. Since then, he has won two straight NBA titles with the Golden State Warriors and has been awarded back-to-back Finals MVP trophies along the way.

Westbrook is the only remaining member of the original Big 3 in OKC. For his part, Durant's departure propelled him to superstar status and allowed him to deservedly take home the 2016-17 season MVP award.

This year, this trio is looking at a combined salary of $95.7 million — a figure that they would not have acquired if all three decided to stay with the Thunder. Moreover, the breakup is also the only reason why the Thunder were able to bring in Paul George and his max deal.

Nevertheless, it's still wonderful to reminisce, and quite amazing to imagine what could have been.
