Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was an absolute stud in the final stretch of the 2018 regular season. Henry stated that he plans to build upon that success heading into the 2019 season.

Henry had an incredibly disappointing season up until Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars where he ran for 238 yards and four touchdowns. Henry looked every bit of the running back he was back at Alabama and haunted the Jags top defensive unit on Thursday Night Football. Prior to that game, Henry's highest yard total was 58 yards and he only had five rushing touchdowns before his monstrous Week 14 outing.

Henry followed his thrashing of the Jags defense by putting together another impressive outing the following week against the New York Giants. Henry rushed for 170 yards and two rushing touchdowns as the Titans shut the Giants out, 17-0.

Henry was incredible during his time with Alabama and won the Heisman Trophy in 2015 and finally showed glimpses of being a workhorse back in the final few weeks of the season. Henry will likely remain the workhorse for the Titans next season despite their tendencies to turn to fellow running Dion Lewis. Lewis was used heavily on passing plays due to his speed and catching ability.

The Titans have a special talent with Henry and should focus on surrounding him with solid help in the passing game as well. The defense finally started playing to their full potential as did Henry so it ought to be Tennessee's priority this offseason to get Henry and quarterback Marcus Mariota a supporting cast.
