Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan revealed the team watched a lot of tape on how the Buffalo Bills slowed down Lamar Jackson and used that to a successful Saturday. A lot of football fans growing up have played the video game Madden, and Ryan compared the gameplan to using a lot of “Engage Eight” most of the bout according to Tyler Dunne of Bleacher Report.

The Titans used eight- or nine-man boxes all night just daring Jackson to pass the ball on them for victory. Once Tennessee was out in front early, the Ravens had no choice but to try and throw the ball. The stats for Jackson didn't look terrible, though, besides the turnovers, but a lot of the stat-padding came during the fourth quarter with the game nearly out of reach. He finished the game throwing for 365 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. He also ran the ball 20 times for 143 yards. The Titans; defense held the Ravens offense to only 12 points, and that was the most important stat.

Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro also said the team focused on swarming to the ball.

“You've got to swarm,” Vaccaro said via Dunne. “You've got to string him out. He had a lot of plays where he ran out of bounds. That was the key. Make him go inside-out. Don't let him cut downhill, and then he's eating up stripes with his 4.3 speed. Whatever he is—4.2.”

The Titans have had perfect defensive gameplans each of the first two games of the postseason, and no matter who they face in the AFC Championship game, it's going to take another special effort from the defense.
