The Baltimore Ravens suffered a now-famous defeat at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. The offense failed to hold a candle to the incredible Titans defense. Moreover, Lamar Jackson looked human again in this defeat.

However, there is a talking point that should make things a lot more alarming for Baltimore fans: the Ravens only finished with 12 points to their names even though they had multiple opportunities to end drives in a field goal.

CBS Sports' Will Brinson tweeted about all of the times when the Ravens had the opportunity to secure at least 24 points.

It's definitely shocking how many field goal chances they squandered because they were desperate to get to a touchdown. This can be considered as greedy playcalling from John Harbaugh since he didn't settle for field goals when he would have easily made the game more competitive that way.

However, Harbaugh is proud of what his Ravens squad did this season. While the end result was less than what they expected, it gives the head coach hope that next year will be better for them.

“I felt like this was the best football team that it could be this year,” Harbaugh said, per Michael David Smith for Yahoo! Sports. “With the group that we had, we made the most of us, becoming the best football team we could be. We just weren’t that today, and that’s the disappointing thing.”

Of course, the loss is unacceptable. But the Ravens should have a long championship window as Lamar Jackson is still a young quarterback. As long as the team learns from their mistakes and do better next season, then this loss was worth it.
