Another positive COVID-19 case has once again emerged for the Tennessee Titans almost a week after the organization suffered an abrupt outbreak. The latest contraction was identified as a staff member and the team will temporarily close its training facility to prevent more widespread of the virus, according to ESPN's Turron Davenport.

The Titans' previous outbreak occurred after their Week 3 encounter against the Minnesota Vikings. It eventually reached double-digit positive cases for the Titans organization while the Vikings were spared and had no positive cases.

The developments resulted in a postponement of the Titans' Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers which will now be played in Week 7 of the season. The two teams also had an earlier bye week and will now play 13-straight games for the remainder of the season.

The Vikings proceeded with their scheduled Week 4 matchup against the Houston Texans which ended on a 31-23 win for the Minnesota-based squad.

Aside from the Titans, another heavily-infected squad was the New England Patriots who suffered a total of four positive cases in a span of eight days. The absences of their top players in quarterback Cam Newton and cornerback Stephon Gilmore will be a huge blow for the Patriots moving forward.

The Kansas City Chiefs also had practice squad playmaker Jordan Ta'amu and an unnamed strength and conditioning coach test positive for the virus as well.

The Titans will return to the field and play their Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills which was already rescheduled from Sunday to Tuesday.
