Harrison Barnes hasn’t found some consistent and relevant minutes in Team USA’s last three outings in the group stage, mainly due to the challenge that was brought up to them by their opponents.
But in their rout of Argentina in the quarterfinals, the athletic forward finally got to run the floor a bit. His role during that game, more than anything else, turned out to be that of a human victory cigar for coach Mike Krzyzewski.
