Veteran wide receiver Tyler Boyd and the Cincinnati Bengals absolutely dismantled the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday to improve to 2-1 on the season. With the Steelers spiraling downward early on, somewhat due to injury troubles throughout the roster, Boyd and the Bengals could be one of the more improved teams in the entire NFL.

After the Bengals' latest victory, Boyd had an interesting take on the Steelers and their lackluster effort on Sunday, which has only added more fuel to the fire between the two AFC North rivals (via James Rapien of SI.com).

“I think the good thing about that win was, not only did the Steelers feel that, everybody in the country felt it. Because the last plays of the game for them, they gave up. You could see it. They had three drops in a row. For a team to see that is giving us more power, giving us the antidote to know how good we are.”

Somewhere out there, Bengals fans are nodding in agreement.

Boyd, however, wasn't done. He continued to take a shot at the Steelers, saying the Bengals will never do what Ben Roethlisberger and company did in Week 3.

“For a team to just lay down like that before the game is over because no matter how much were are losing by or whatever the case may be, I know me, I know us, we’re not going to give up. We’re going to continue to try and make something happen. But they portrayed it to the whole nation on TV what they were about and how they gave up.”

The Bengals will look to improve to 3-1 when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday.
