The Florida Gators’ back-to-back basketball champion team of 2006 and 2007 had a recent trip to its alma mater.

The players, led by NBA stars Joakim Noah, Al Horford, and Corey Brewer, performed the school’s traditional Two Bit cheer that has been conducted by different honorary individuals since 2008.

The Two Bit cheer was started by George Edmondson back in 1949. Based on the reactions from the crowd, it turned out to be the lone bright spot on a lowly Gator team during that time.

Since then, Edmondson has done the traditional cheer on select home games until his retirement in 2008.
