Kobe Bryant scored 60 points in his career finale, an incredible feat considering the season he's had, the pain he's endured, and the fact that it's the highest scoring game for any player for the entire 2015-16 season.

But you probably already know all that. Even if you didn't watch the game, you've heard that all by now.

What you might not know is that he also had a pretty good passing performance, and although it only amounted to 4 assists, one of the best plays of the game came on a hockey assist.

D'Angelo Russell got the actual assist for a Julius Randle dunk on a true Lakers showtime throwback play – which was probably the best play by the Lakers the entire season:

And later in the game on Kobe's final play? You guessed it, an assist.

Yes, Kobe shot the ball 50 times in his final game. But he also did what the critics were calling for his entire career: pass the ball.

And just in case you forgot, Kobe also did that a lot the rest of his career, despite what haters would say. He finished his career second all-time in Lakers history for assists.
