Things got testy in the preseason finale featuring the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. One tense moment even involved Lance Stephenson and Quinn Cook which led to the former's ejection.

As Stephenson drove to the hoop against Cook and big man Kevon Looney, the Lakers shooting guard got quite the harm from the Warriors guard. Stephenson lost his cool after what looks like a playoff foul-type of a hit from Cook.

What the enigmatic swingman did next came as a shock to everyone as he appeared to swing his clenched fist toward the head of Cook. While it wasn't meant to be a punch, rather a shove, the referees are not going to tolerate such acts.

Stephenson was eventually thrown out of the preseason contest, much to the delight of Draymond Green who was seen on the Warriors bench gleefully cheering either the exit of his opponent or how his teammate in Cook did not lose his cool.

The Lakers won the game, 119-105, sweeping their preseason series against the Warriors. The game was bereft of the presence of LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

The Warriors will open their three-peat campaign at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Meanwhile, the Lakers will visit the Portland Trail Blazers to kick off things for the LeBron James era.
