The Minnesota Vikings are now starting to turn the corner at just the right time in the season.

The Vikings pulled off arguably their biggest win of the year in Week 11 with the grand 34-31 home victory over the Green Bay Packers.

For a Vikings team that has had a multitude of dramatic finishes in the campaign already, they provided for another such game in this showdown with Green Bay. They blew a 16-3 first half lead in the contest, as the Packers responded with a trio of key touchdown drives.

In the end, it was quarterback Kirk Cousins that rose to the occasion with a pair of scoring drives in the fourth quarter to avoid what would have been yet another second half collapse this season. A 29-yard field goal by Greg Joseph was just enough to push the Vikings to back-to-back wins.

Running back Dalvin Cook shined in the contest with 115 yards from scrimmage and one total touchdown. Immediately after the game, Cook took to Twitter to provide a simple, one-emoji reaction to this monumental win for Minnesota.

The Vikings now move to 5-5 on the season. Not many would have predicted that they would ever move back to the .500 mark following their 3-5 start to the campaign, but here they are.

Next up for Cook and Minnesota will be a key Week 12 road matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. If they aspire to remain in the NFC playoff picture, then they surely need a win over a San Francisco team that has also reeled off back-to-back wins.
