All eyes were on Yannick Ngakoue as he made his debut for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. Following Minnesota's disappointing defensive performance against the Green Bay Packers, Ngakoue is motivated to perform better in Week 2.

“I’ve still got a bad taste in my mouth, and I want to make it right this weekend. . . . Right now, this defensive line and this defense needs a spark, and I need to go make that spark this weekend,” Ngakoue said, via Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.

Not long before the season began, Ngakoue was traded to the Vikings from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Therefore, he didn't have much time to get acclimated to Minnesota's defense and his new teammates.

Nevertheless, while Ngakoue made his first career start with the Vikings, Aaron Rodgers picked them apart through the air. Rodgers would complete 32 of his 44 attempts for 364 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Packers to an easy win over their NFC North rivals.

Above all, Ngakoue and Minnesota's defense failed to log a single sack against Rodgers in Week 1. As for this week, Ngakoue will be facing a team he is familiar with in the Indianapolis Colts – and their less mobile quarterback in Philip Rivers.

Unfortunately for the Vikings, they'll be without Danielle Hunter for at least three weeks after placing him on injured reserve. Given that, the team's pass-rushing unit will take a massive hit until he returns. Regardless of Hunter's status, Ngakoue wants to make sure he puts his Week 1 performance behind him as quickly as possible.
