There is absolutely no doubt in the mind of former two-time All-Star swingman and current ESPN analyst Caron Butler that the Golden State Warriors have zero chances of winning the championship next season. So much so, that he is willing to bet his house on it.

To further illustrate his certainty, Butler even identified which of his houses he is willing to put on the line. As it turns out, the former NBA journeyman has done pretty well for himself during his 14-year career, and has done an even better job managing his funds in retirement.

Butler appears to betting his house against the house here, with the bookmakers in Vegas still tipping the Warriors to make a memorable comeback next season to win it all.

Then again, it's hard not to make sense of what Butler is saying here, especially considering how horribly the season ended for Golden State. With Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson — two guys that will be entering free agency in the summer — going down with some serious injuries, the future is indeed a bit murky for the Warriors at this point.

Let's not forget, however, that Golden State have one of the best front offices in the league, and these are the very same guys that were the architects of the recently-toppled Warriors dynasty. There is no doubt that they will do everything in their power to try and make their team a better squad for next season, so maybe Butler is speaking a bit too prematurely here.
