San Francisco – After sleeping on it and reviewing the tape ofGolden State Warriors' Jordan Poole making contact with Ja Morant’s knee, Steve Kerr still didn't have much to say about the play.

“I watched the play. There is nothing to comment on,” Kerr told ClutchPoints.

The Warriors didn't engage too much with the Grizzlies in the debate on if this was a malicious play by Poole or not. They left the decision up to the NBA, and Sunday the league announced there would be no penalty for the Warriors' third-year guard.

Before the NBA made a decision, Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins told media members he believed the play Poole touched Morant’s knee is when the injury occurred. He also shared that he doesn't believe his All-Star guard will suit up on Monday.

The absence of Morant would be a huge blow for Memphis, but it doesn't mean they can't win without him. The Grizzlies had an excellent record in the regular season when playing without Morant. At one point, the team was 20-5 in games where he wasn't available.

This series is far from over, but the Warriors will do all they can to be in a position to end it in Memphis this week. The faster you can eliminate a team means more time to rest and scout your next opponent.

Since Poole won't have to serve any penalties this series, it means the Warriors have all hands on deck to try to get the win, minus James Wiseman and Gary Payton II. You can expect the Warriors to play with a sense of urgency and attitude because they're looking at this as a must-win game.
