Draymond Green is now playing his sixth NBA Finals series with the Golden State Warriors. Naturally, he's bound to make some sort of record with the number of championship games he has played.

Still, it's pretty impressive what he accomplished in Game 2 of the 2022 Finals on Sunday. He surpassed Kobe Bryant and Larry Bird to crack the Top 10 of the NBA Finals all-time assists record.

The Warriors star entered the game with 187 assists in career Finals appearances, and he needed just one to break his tie with Bryant and Bird. He finished the contest with seven dimes to increase his tally to 194.

Here's the exact moment Draymond Green claimed no. 10 on the assists list. He didn't waste any time in the game to make the record, finding Kevon Looney near the basket in the first quarter for the easy two.

Considering that Green ahs averaged at least five assists in the first two games of the 2022 NBA Finals, it's not hard to see him surpassing Michael Jordan for no. 7 on the list. If the series even extends even more, there's a good chance the Warriors vet could have a crack at the Top 6.

But sure enough, Green won't be thinking about individual records. While it is nice and all that, the Warriors have their eyes on the biggest prize: the Larry O'Brien trophy. Any additional accolade is just a bonus should they win the championship once again.

After the 107-88 win in Game 2, the Warriors have now tied things at 1-1 as the series shifts to Boston.
